What is this feature?

Keyword Analysis is a Pro-mode analysis feature that connects GSC/GA4 search performance with HaloX GEO decisions. Keyword Status shows which keywords need attention; Keyword Analysis explains whether the cause sits in queries, pages, search demand, or AI citation readiness.
HaloX Pro mode Keyword Analysis Overview live-data screen showing 17 Top 10 keywords, 3.9 average rank, 13 AIO-cited keywords, and a 47 SEO score
Keyword Analysis groups search rank, AIO citation, SEO score, ranking movement, and opportunity discovery in one view. Once results accumulate, the Overview tab points teams to Quick Wins and AIO status before they narrow the cause through Performance, Competitors, and Opportunity tabs.

Operating sequence

1

1. Pick priority keywords from Keyword Status

Start with drops, uncited keywords, stale topics, and competitor-heavy queries.
2

2. Separate query and page causes in Keyword Analysis

Decide whether the problem is demand, page quality, evidence, or AI readability.
3

3. Move the work into Strategy Map or Content Factory

Convert the signal into cluster, page, or question-set work rather than a one-off keyword tweak.

How to read the core KPIs

MetricWhat it meansBasisHow to interpret it
Top 10 KeywordsNumber of keywords where the brand domain ranks in Google top 10Latest SERP analysis where the brand domain’s best detected rank is 10 or lowerA low ratio means many tracked keywords are still outside first-page visibility.
Average PositionAverage search position across keywords where the brand has a detected rankKeywords without a brand rank are excluded; lower is betterAn average around 12 means many keywords are close to first-page range but still need structure and content work.
AIO-cited KeywordsKeywords where AI Overview is detected and the brand is citedCombines AI Overview detection with brand citation statusIf ranking is strong but AIO citation is weak, strengthen answer-ready evidence and source links.
SEO Score0-100 score combining rank, brand share, AIO coverage, and trendPosition score 40%, brand SOV 30%, AIO coverage 20%, trend bonus 10%Do not read the score alone; inspect which component is pulling it down.
Position DistributionCount of keywords in 1-5, 6-10, 11-15, and 15+ bucketsGroups the latest detected brand ranks by rangeMany 11-15 keywords are near-term improvement candidates. Many 15+ keywords need broader content work.
